Old locks , are there brands to look out for ?

Just curious at the moment , haven't checked e-bay yet ,
Are any brands more sought after ?
How can i tell if i see a lock that's worth more than it
looks ? or is it a case of the weirder the better ! :?:

santa fe RR locks can be quite valueable. thet usually have a large SF on the front of them. be careful there are tons of knockoffs.good luck :)
