I've got two series 5200 locks that I'm tying to decode the datestamps for. I found one decoding table on lockwiki, but that was for, I believe, the 11/12/1300 series. The two stamps are 'RGH" and "YELa." I couldn't find any help on Google, so I figured I'd ask here. Thanks in advance!

About half way down the page is the date codes.
http://lockwiki.com/index.php/American_Lock_1100_1200_1300The first is Sept. of 1987 and the other is Feb of 2006

Yeah. I said I saw that. But considering it was specifically on a page for a different series, I assumed the date codes would be different.

No, the date codes are universal.

Do I have this correct? What about the extra letters or numbers?
TFF = July 99
SEFy7 = August 09
VEFV 3 = May 09

Yes, those dates are corect. Only the first 3 letters count. It is currently unknown what the other letters/numbers stand for.

Wouldn't YEL be Feb 2003 not 2006?

Whoops, you would be correct. I misread it when I was looking last night.
