Nice Wink Haus, rerun. They are interesting to pick. Like the torpedo key pins.

That keyway is what happens when your tool designer also has epilepsy. But the paperwork had already made it through committee before they caught it. Then they had to piss off some key blank manufacturers to make it work. ;)

This is a small Eagle padlock. The cylinder is only 3/8" across. It's in my unpickable pile until I figure out how to make some smaller tools to pick it.

It pisses off more than key blank manufacturers... its totally impossible to pick with the right bitting.

What is that thing that looks like a spool pin hiding in the keyway on the left?

Here is the keyway from a LOB Granit 2 padlock...

I assure you, that is a mother to negotiate with picks. Seven pins, and it makes a challenge. :D

Here is a screen shot from FarmerFreak's video of the EVVA keyway I mentioned above as being worthy of 'Keyway Fear'...

Again, credit for the picture (and the picked position therein) goes to FarmerFreak.

Re: Keyway fear--pictures are a must!

Can I play? :) Here's a Best with a super tight keyway. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the pins are almost touching that first ledge.

And of course, a Keymark.
