Double turn locks

Could someone please clarify with regard to these two locks.
One is on metal shutter doors and the other on a wooden external door, the one on the external is a euro 5 pin cylinder, the other one I am not sure (will know in a couple of weeks, foreign country)
Anyhow as far as I remember both locks require a double turn of the key to open, does this mean when picking them to open that they must be picked twice....one for each revolution?

Re: Double turn locks

Probably yes, or use a plug spinner :)

(Never pick locks in use or locks you don't own. I thought I just add. :))

Its ok I own the place and I will need to pick them once just for the hell of it, I do have spare locks though as I have changed them a few times iver the years. Mind you that was before I started lockpicking thinking I was being clever and not realising how easy some of them are to pick. That aside the most common method of entry in that country is destructive.....if only they knew :-)

If you don't have a plug spinner you can mcguyver one with a rubber band and tension wrench.

Re: Double turn locks

yeah there are a bunch of ways to easily home make a plug spinner :)
I like the one with little tubes and a disassempled mouse trap. I used that one before I got a nicer one
