Re: Question - is it possible to pick a lock "to Death"

Tapping, thats it, when a lock dosen't open, it should respond to tapping, drop that pin, I gotta remember that one and keep it in my kit.
might even build a tiny hammer for the plug face, then theres the direction of tapping, with a pin punch in the tiny handle you can set up on the key entry area and drive it in... then a bit of CW or CCW.
its just what we need, another way to physically mechanically persuade the pins to move, we have to use every possibilty. and it could make lockpicking more interesting in movies, the protagonist, (lockpicks are always the good guys) could make more of an act out of dealing with the lock. And get an extra three seconds of view time for the audience.
actors like to emote, thats what they are doing when the music starts to raise. the guy cold sort out two picks, then maybe hold one in his mouth for a minute,While emoting with knitted brow and sticking his tongue out to show hes concentrating....
then put them in the lock, start picking and do the acting with his face, perhaps a tongue stuck in a cheek while concentrating, then the tiny hammer could come in and cause the final pin to fall while the actor does some mugging with the face.

you see, this trick allows the actors to do what they like to do, emote thoughts to the audience, it could revolutionize how lockpicking is filmed, the actors just need to learn how to emote with their faces, they will love it, its a closeup scene, tiny picks tight shots of the fingers, lock and face.
Oh, why dosent hollywood understand me.....I got some good moves I could teach them.

lockpicking is not done right in movies, thats because the actors don't have the moves down, the face moves, showing concentration, emoting "high sec lock"

A tiny hammer connected with a spring to a bogota handle - then you have to know exactly how much to bend the spring to make the hammer transfer just the right of movement energy to set the lock without resetting the pins.

A snapper pick with a bogota tip? its been thought of before, others have mentioned the idea, as far as I know, no one has yet made one. If someone has, this would be a place to mention it or post photos. tell us how it works for ya
