This was the first Yale LFIC I've had the chance to play with thanks to Jeff. There is a real easy way to remove these cores. Pick the lock to operating clockwise, turn the plug to just before the control position and press in and hold the silver small 7th pin in the far back of the lock which you can see in the picture with your pick. While holding the pin in turn the lock clockwise and it should stop right at control and let you remove the plug. Good luck!

Thanks to xeo for picking the lock for me. Here is a straight-on shot of the keyway. Can anyone identify it for me? My hope is that it can be rekeyed with operating and control keys.

Reverse of that, it's a YA keyway. The silhouettes are the same as looking straight on the keyway or looking down the blade of the key (bow to tip).

Nice Bookmark to have if you don't want to shell out $20 for the printed copy.

Hey guys, I got one of these from mastersmith last week and have been fighting to get this... It catches at the control point, but stops there and doesn't seem to want to rotate the control release. Is there a trick I'm missing? Can the control pin be raised too far or something? Possible it's just stuck, I suppose...

LOL... nevermind, got it right after I posted this... guess I wasn't quite getting it up high enough, had to give it a little more wiggle than I had been.
