Re: Lock Slayer's Journal

Some of these photos and post make me want to throw all my lock stuff away and watch TV. How sad. I hold out hope because I do get a bit better with time and effort. Funny how that works,,,,,

ps: Very nice work on that keyway. My first thought would be a drill. Glad you brought it to its knees,

Great job. I remember my first American lock, and it was an awesome feeling. I wasn't on any boards yet and wanted to share it with someone... so I showed it to my wife. She said: "Wow honey, that's really great" in the same tone of voice that I would tell my 4 y/o son, "yes, that stick really is neat." I just walked away.

Keep at it. Picking on American locks taught me a great deal about picking.

Ha, I get the same thing from my wife  . To her credit, she will listen to my exhaustively technical explanation of how the lock I just opened works, and why I'm excited...every once in a while, I can get an "okay, that actually is really cool" out of her.

Re: Lock Slayer's Journal

I think we all need to thank this forum or better yet our wives need to because otherwise we would be boring them with our lock victory stories lol.
