Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone out there that knows a bit about Pacific Locks could give me some info on the 95G Series. I found one floating around in my collection today that i hadn't touched in a while mainly since i've never picked it. Seems like an interesting lock.

Cheers,

Oisin

This is probably not helpfull, but the keyway looks the same as an American Padlock...

Have that same padlock, but it has a cut shackle. It was given to me in a trade at no charge due to the cut shackle. But it still picks well!

Nice lock.

Gordon,

When picking it is it best to use top of key way tension or bottom of key way?

Cheers,

TOK is usually best in most locks, as it allows more room for the pick to maneuver. It also tensions the pins more evenly. I do use BOK if the keyway has enough room or if the warding makes it easier. Originally learned to pick using BOK.
