My very first lock. A four pin (I think). Man I really need to get some proper kit. I think I'll practice with this one some more before I move on to my Master lock 532dpf.

Thx. I watched a bosnian bill vid on youtube and now I think I'm hooked to this hobby. I cant put this lock down. I love the way the pick feels as the pins slide in place. I'm likely to post somewhere appropriate for advice on a starter kit in my budget shortly.

Wow.. those are some wicked drivers and springs, seems they would be under quite a bit of pressure.

Well, ive picked these a time or so before, but i think mostly from luck. I can now pick both of these pretty consistently, so suppose ill post em.

This was my first magnum series padlock i got, its an M15, after getting use to the spring and required tension this is a fast pick.

This brinks gave me some trouble because of the hard spring tension it is under, but finally figured it out.

Finally picked this Kale Kilit 6-pin 'standard' cylinder:

I think the reason I couldn't pick it before was the number 3 and 4 pins, which are rather short. The paracentric keyway and deep spools do not help either...

Recently I got these two used locks for cheap, and picked them.

DAF Kilit standard cylinder:

Yuma Kilit standard cylinder:

They picked pretty easily. I'm trying to determine which of the Turkish manufacturers make the most pick-resistant cylinders, and so far only Kale makes locks that are difficult. Recently they introduced a triple-bitted dimple lock with a 100% steel body to prevent snapping.

Managed to get consistent results picking a Paclock 95G series. Judging by the feedback I was getting there was at least 2 spool pins which I'm hoping sets me up for picking my American 5200.
