Well done!! They can put up quite a fight, especially for a lock with only three pins. I vividly recall the high I got when I picked my first Medeco a few months ago.

Another lockwood V7 I picked up from a salvage yard.
Picked and gutted, will re-pin to a key I had in my junk box :hammering:

Nothing overly difficult. American 747 padlock that was free without keys.

Next step is to make keys!

Picked this nice Sargent 6-pinner that our own Mr. jeffmoss sent me. Took me a little while, until I realized I was oversetting the snot out of everything.

Edit: by popular demand, the bitting:

Beat to crap S.P.Co WB from ebay - decided to try a homebrew pick that I made a long time ago, the handle came from bosnianbill.

Here is what it looked like when I received it:

Nice pickin' there Jeff! And the tools are still bloody I see :armed:

Great clean up job too. What did you use? It worked well, yet left that nice old patina untouched.

just the wire wheel on my bench grinder. I don't want the lock to look new (it never will) just wanted to get the paint and rust removed.

Got these two at a local antique shop today. Fun, quick picks.

Gotta love those oldies :D Think I have the same two.
If I remember, the Craftsman gave me some trouble.

Nice pickin' and nice additions to your collection.

Love the Deco styling on those oldies.

If you pick locks that spring back closed after you pick them, use a pin or piece of wire in the drain hole to hold the torsion tool in the opened position while you photograph them.

Not that anyone doesn't believe you, it's just that it makes the picture that much more satisfying - to see it popped.

Don't go to the trouble of re-posting - it's just me - I like to see them picked like OF likes to see them gutted :D

The biting on the Ilco is MEAN. I hate low last pins!!!! :hammering:

PS. I'm also jealous, they are beautiful locks - I'm a big fan of the Deco style.
