Well done, huxleypig!

Here are a couple locks I recently picked. One was significantly more difficult than the other. You guess which one is what!

Cheers :)

Thanks! I like them mainly because they're lightweight. Now that we are all more conscious about plastic waste, I'm also happy they're up-cycled!

Cheers :)

Oh wow, those are some neat 'ol heavy duty bags.

Looks like a nice homemade pick(?)
that's served you well for some years.

Re: What have you picked today

It is actually quite a recently homemade pick, the locks are nice little Chubb 5 lever units and can be prone to trap levers up too high if overlifted or if a wrong key is used. I got a load of the old wallets a bit back without keys so made the pick to play with them, but normally in the past they would have been deriveted to rekey them if needed.

A couple of unique locks found in the shop.
Really was trying to make a key for the Master lock Streetcuffs. First attempt at tubular key impression. Was able to get close enough to unlock but not make a key that was consistent or wasn't ugly. The old Yale padlock I found in the shops Brass recycle bin. The shackle had been cut. Kind of a shame as it was pretty easy to pick open.

Re: What have you picked today

Imagefinally after about 45 minutes of picking got this Abus open. Usually spools don’t trip me up but these just weren’t giving much feedback.

It seems it would be easy to be pick when you can reach inside the keyway and manipulate the discs by hand.
