Just picked this tonight. It's the other one's brother.

Been thinking about trying out dimple picking, but I've only seen a handful dimple locks around here - that Abus is one of them.

Do it. There's nothing like expanding your capabilities. Just be forewarned that picking dimple locks is a fundamentaly different skill than picking traditional pin tumblers. Avoid the urge to pry up on pins and let the dimple pick's rotation, guide you through picking the lock. Good Luck!

Heres my pick today. I like levers. When I was working on the tools years ago here in Scotland, there wernt any PVC doors,( and no euro cylinders) so all the locks I worked with, were lever mortice locks, and yale latches.
Ive picked my share of pin tumblers since taking up locksports, but still have a leaning towards the things Im most familiar with. Levers.
Since meeting guys like Capt Dunc, and We11ington, Ive had the oppertunity to have a go and pick a few different safe locks, and learned a lot from these guys.

Heres todays pick. A fairly average 7 lever Ace lock.

Various locks I got from Random, some dimple locks, and some locks that were sitting on my desk.

After the American padlock, you should try some of the locks with serrated pin that are common in Sweden as well (Alfa, Gege, Dorma/Elite)!

No, see viewtopic.php?p=109733#p109733 for one of them.
Alfa and Gege (both KABA brands) I don't have any good shots of the insides of, but see http://www.kaba.se/media-resized/636946 ... linder.jpg for a pretty realistic illustration.
