While I'm at it I'll go grab an aspirin, crush it up with my broken half ball and snort it through my WD-40 nozzle!

m0ose wrote:So yeah, I've got a Brinks Mini Disc and it's giving me hell. Like, even with the key it requires insane force, even after lubing it up. I just can't set it. I've tried raking and SPPing, and a mixture of the two, but no dice.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I got it on tape and pwned as of 06/06/08

Haha, yeah, I know what you mean. I've been able to get this lock quite often now. Just remember, lots of tension, and rake until your fingers fall off. :P Well, for me, it's rake, lift, lift, open. Once you get it down, you will be able to pull it off quite nice.

Re: Brinks Mini Disc

I finally picked that stupid lock today. I SPP'd it twice, but only after I looked at the key to see the length of the pins.

Re: Brinks Mini Disc

Congrats on picking it. (woohoo)

It took me months to get mine - and I finally used a city rake and heavy tension with raking and jiggling to get it.

Never was able to SPP it, tho.

Congrats!

I couldn't SPP it straight up, I could only ever really rake it and then SPP it from there.

Good work though! Got a camera?
