American series 30 & 10 cannot gut! HELP

I can't figure out how to get them apart! I picked them & when you open the shackle and go to stick a screw driver or allen wrench down the hole it looks like it's just a rivet or something down there that you cannot grab with any tool. Does anyone have any idea how to open these so i can gut them. I need the spare screws.

these are riveted...you drill out the rivet, then use a retaining bolt from any american lock.
Be careful not to destroy the trapdoor. and look here:

Taurus, you'll find American pinning kits on eBay pretty consistently - usually run about $45.00 and you'll have plenty of pins and springs to play with.

Retiring locksmiths are always selling their stuff pretty cheaply - so be on the look out for nice bargains.

Thanks kid, .45 is sending me a package with some random pins in it. I'm giving him one of my medeco padlocks since he asked so he's throwing in a few picks and pins just for the hell of it. But thank you for offer
