ASSA Flexcore Cylinder Lock Picked in 6 Seconds!

Picked my first ASSA lock yesterday, an ASSA Flexcore.
It's a 5 pin lock with driver pins of various lengths and a (for me) special design:

How do you call those driver pins? Double Spools? Spool/Serrated?

Here's the video of the lock. I've raked it using the short hook:

And I'm very happy with it! (woohoo)
Next up is the ASSA SCD. A 6 pin lock with the same driver pins as this lock has ;)

Could be right.
Awol70 called them balanced drivers. sounds like it fits as well.

I think you are correct - barrel pins is what I've heard them called. Awol, would you care to expand on this topic for the rest of the class?

Re: ASSA Flexcore Cylinder Lock Picked in 6 Seconds!

Its my understanding that 'balanced drivers' refers to different length drivers, of any variety, that correspond to different length key pins so that all of the pin stacks add up to the same height. Correct?

That would make sense.
So in a way it could be both barrel as well as balanced?
Interesting .... ;)
