Re: help with tubular lock urgent!!!!

Start by spraying some lock lube into the lock, and turn the lock upside down, try this a few times, you may have loosened up some gunk and jammed things up. You also might have compressed a spring. You will probably have to replace this lock for your friend I wish I had better advice. Don't pick locks that you intend to use.
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.

What is the lock used on (ie: can it be tapped upside down on a hard surface)

What type of picks did you use

What method of picking did you try

Do you have a key

How confident are you at disassembling the lock.

Re: help with tubular lock urgent!!!!

If you picked the lock by picking individual pins (didn't use a conventional tubular pick), the lock probably just relocked, which it will do every 1/8 of a turn. Just pick it again, the same way, but in the opposite direction to restore it to the original state.

Re: help with tubular lock urgent!!!!

I tried banging it spraying it with silicone spray poking at the deppressed pin nothing worked. Too late to fix now, he wasnt too pissed that I broke it. Although I am probably going to have to replace it.
