ASSA keyway ID help

Trying to ID this keyway and get blanks for a friend in Germany. It seems to be on page 255 of the pdf file I downloaded on mobile for the Kaba Ilco key blank guide in International. What do you guys think it is? Im not entirely sure. Thank you for any help.

Re: ASSA keyway ID help

No idea what it is, but if you can get the blanks, can you get one for me also? I have the same lock that I've been wanting to key up.

Re: ASSA keyway ID help

Silca key blank ASS 175R looks like it would fit.
That is for profile UL , 6pin.

Most of the ASSA cylinders I've seen have a code on the back of the lock. That might contain the profile.

Thanks! He said it was UL and a 6 digit number I assumed was the bitting.

I got a practice lock off eBay that looks like this. I believe it's from a user here goes by jimu57. His eBay handle was slightly diffrent but I think it's the same person. PM him he might have blanks. He had a Herty Gerty for sale in the non-lockpicking section.

Re: ASSA keyway ID help

I'd love to get my hand on 10 to 12 of these blanks as well.
If anyone finds them please drop me a line. :)

Kind regards,
Sean

Re: ASSA keyway ID help

First off, sorry about the thread hijack.

Second, I contacted the seller on eBay of my Assa practice lock and he gave me the email of his key supplier. Then I emailed his supplier to inquire about availability of blanks.

Now the waiting.....

... and it's $6 per blank or $10 cut plus shipping.

PM me for contact details and I will let you know how to get hold of this person.

edit:updated with costs

Re: ASSA keyway ID help

Yea those are the same prices as the guy selling those practice locks on ebay. $12 for a cut key? Seems a bit much to me. Anyone else feel its over priced? Its not even a twin but a classic keyway. The twin keys I would suspect to cost $20-30 a key or maybe more but not a classic profile key.

It was more than I expected but just figured I would pass along the information in case anyone wanted them badly enough. They are Assa brand blanks and not aftermarket ones (at least that's what came with my lock).

I figured they would be $7 a blank. Not bad not bad.

Re: ASSA keyway ID help

A bit off subject, but still ASSA related, I bought an Assa cylinder listed as a 601 Scandinavian from ebay. Ordered again from same seller and got an Assa SCD. Anyone know of the differences? Won't have time to gut it and peek around until tomorrow. Curiosity is killing me right now!
