I have never tried this bypass, looks like it would work.
I think hard to repeat.
Did notice in the video at 2:27 the plastic has been moved above the center-line of the latch, as if the door latch has already been retracted.
Perhaps the plastic slips the latch.?
But it also looks like the shim is above the deadbolt?.
???
Guess I'll have to give it a try.
Others have shown a similar technique on a Standard deadbolt. Kwikset deadbolt if I remember correctly.
