Sweet looking pin flywheel and great picking gents.

Flywheel thanks for the pick handle idea. I have been looking for something round for my dimple pick but nothing. Cant even find solid brass stock around me.

Talk to rerun12. He is the one who made it and a bunch of interchangeable picks to go with it. Very nice!

I don't remember spools. My go-to is the gem with a short and tall hook for backup.

Keymark Mortise Cylinder - thanks to a very generous Doogs :D

After a pitched month-long battle I picked this last week. The tolerances seem really tight as I often had trouble isolating the binding pin. Also, I seemed to be constantly dropping pins. Not to mention, I struggled to get much feedback trying to negotiating that nutty keyway. But, for the first time I got to use my Peterson Postal pick, which I'd not tried before and found it rather fun stuff.

Great job Sean you obviously have more patience than I. I never thought a long hook would work but apparently i was wrong. I'll have to pick up another one and give it a shot.

Just a pair of cheap Elgin wafer locks with hardcore spring tension on the cores. I doubt these have been opened in decades.

S&G Door lock with timer using Medeco cam lock. :bogota:

Cool lock. When operated the first time by the key, a mechanical timer starts running. After about ten minutes, then you can use the key again to open the lock.

Made a key for it, too (Hand filed with a Harbor Freight needle file). :)

My first disc detainer lock picked:

Just a cheap Chinese lock (Lieb'ao top security?) but it felt good when it opened.

Thanks Mike :)
I too was extremely frustrated until I did some googling and discovered that other's had been successful using the Postal pick (Gonzo hook), which made a huge difference.

Very cool indeed! Nice little 3-pin? Medeco.
Is there a key to wind the timer mechanism?
Also, what is the purpose of this kind of 10-minute delay lock?

Thanks for showing it to us :)

MIke,
The sweet thrill of success - congratulations! I've never even attempted a disc detainer - nice work! :hbg:
Kind regards,
Sean
