Looks like that flyer was for a class scheduled in 2008.

After I read the table of contents, with the american 2000 as the last topic, I googled american padlock series 2000 and there was a video on how to cut this thing with a cutoff saw, at 35 seconds, before the puck is in two pieces, the core starts to wiggle out, the video goes on the cut the thing in half, but the core cannot wiggle out unless it is separated so its actually open
and they could have stopped right there and simply pulled it out.
the thing would have dropped if gravity was involved but they obviously had it set on the ground to make it easier to saw.
