Help with Abus Diskus No. 24?

I recently acquired an Abus Diskus No. 24 lock (no key) in a large lot. I'm very happy to finally get my hands on one but I'm having a heck of a time navigating inside the lock. I'm using top-of-keyway tensioning and all, but it just seems like there isn't enough room.

Does anyone have some pointers on dealing with this lock?

I have a Diskus. Keyway is very tight. I have been working on picking it,
with lock updside down, using Southord slimline series.

I frequently feel like I'm overlifting the pin stacks.

I'm with Elbowmacaroni. Rytan mini picks (the blue handled ones) are smaller than their regular-sized counterparts by about 20% all around. They're excellent for navigating those tight, small, and paracentric key ways.

PM kokomolock or one of the other lockies on the site, as I believe they req credentials to order direct. Or find a 3rd party site that sells them, I don't think uklp has em, but worth a first look I suppose ;)

i (almost) never use tok on abus discs ( or any discus for that matter)
give BoK a shot...you may find it works quite well...(or not..)

Sorry to say this-I was checking on some other Rytan equipment recently, but I remember their pick pages read " Rytan lock picking instruments must
be purchased from your Distributor ".

ChemicalRobot, I'll send you a PM.
