can someone identify this keyway with 100% certanty? 72/40

cant seem to figure out this keyway anybody know where they are from or the name? i dont know how to upload a photo but the other post " variations in 72/40 keyway has the same keyway as mine... oh i found the upload button!! lol!!

My eyes aren't 100% anymore but it looks to me like it spells "ABUS". Perhaps that can help you narrow it down. I've seen a few manufacturers do this, most commonly in Europe, spelling out a word with the keyway.

That's a trick to protect the blanks forever. The brand name is copyrighted and nobody can reproduce it.

I'm 100% sure it's the restricted ABUS 888 keyway that as others already said spells ABUS if you look at it sideways. https://www.abus.com/var/ezflow_site/st ... 6b78e6.pdf

Squelch, it's the same keyway just smaller for the 72/40 series. Don't know what Abus actually calls it. I have seen codes starting with HH, MH, along with what others have posted above.

As Squelchtone said, it's the Abus 888 keyway. It's restricted, so you would need to have the key card to get a key cut.
