I just gave it a quick skim so far, but from what you've shown me about this project in the past and what I see in this paper, you've done some groundbreaking work here. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing the fruits of your labor with us. We're glad to have you among us.

Very well written and informative document. Even though my understanding of Abloy locks is, at this time, fairly limited, I was able to follow your descriptions and, more importantly, come out the other end of the document with a better understanding of the challenges faced and the techniques used to overcome those challenges.

Also, I have a lot of respect for people who hear, "It's impossible!" and don't interpret it as absolute fact, but as a challenge.

Very informative and professionally presented. Hints on the more "expedient" method would be appreciated.

Glad you enjoyed it. If things like this are not recorded then they can be so easily lost. Plus, the pick has been public for long enough now, I see no real reason to keep the reason it works quiet any more.

MBI, this site has given me more than I could ever give back. I'm sure glad to be here.

Excellent, thanks for that. Very readable. I found myself saying "serendipitously" out loud several times. Not a word I've ever said before in my life.

I don't know if you're aware, (or care) but "Ablator" is a word which has been thought of before:

An ablative heat shield burns away, of course.

Yes, it had to be a real word too for it to work! It can also mean to surgically remove tissue or to weather rock through erosion, as well as your definition. In this case, the surgical tissue removal is the intended definition.
