seems like its easy to change the bitting of the lock... from the outside... not sure how this would help you open the lock but its deffinately not good

Re: Magnet acts like pin

Its good as it pulls the pin up flush,on just one touch, thats all you need on the abs.the magnet in the key does the exact same thing all the rest of the pins are pin in pin brass and are not effected lsa.

Re: Magnet acts like pin

It as anti drill pinS in the front, not in the plug 3 in total, like any other lock, some have only 1 like the mult t.
Because this lock as been picked, they moved the magnet back a few pins and was a bitch to pull out, this should sort it.
This lock his mark 1 magnet in front. mark 2 and 3 they moved the magnetic pin back into the lock.
The magnet his sat in the pin hole in the pic, making contact with the steel pin.

Re: Magnet acts like pin

Ive made it a bit more clear, yes theres only 1 steel pin in the plug.
and you,ll know when the pin his set because the magnet will only push off when set,as its sat in the pin hole.

see pic .
magnets acting as pin 013.JPG
magnet his now flush and his still in the keyway.
works great no binding at all on the steel magnetic pin.

Re: Magnet acts like pin

The magnets are from spider magnet systems on ebay, under strong magnets n52 50 + £3.59 free p+p.
The magnet goes in dead easy on the tip of your pick, and comes out the same way.
