Federal 740

Thought i'd take apart the federal 740 , to see what she has for her guts :D

The bottom pins was all spool pins brass, except one which was a stainless
Sorry about the pictures best i can do for the time being
Not bad for a 5mp phone camera :)

Lol no pick yet guys, had a quick go - no joy :roll:
Thought i'd take it apart to see what im up agaist, i think this will stay unpicked for some time :oops: maybe another years experiance and ill have it on cam :lol:

It's intimidating to look at mate, but remember those are just spools in there! Set that regular pin and it should drop right into false, find the false set pins and deal with them one at a time, making sure to come back to the regular one each time it drops back down. You'll have her cracked in no time. :mrgreen:

These are pretty good locks, I tried to pick one once and I couldn't get any pins to set, that was when my day and I were locked in at a logging job. My hands were cold though, I would like to hold one in my hand and have a go at it though.
