Chicago Locktoberfest

Any Keypicking Members going to the Chicago Locktoberfest this Saturday? If so, look for me and the Mrs. there and say "Hi"!

Re: Chicago Locktoberfest

I wish I had more notice about this. It would have been difficult to squeeze in anyway, with just getting back from vacation. Oh well, next time ?

Seems like a pretty down-to-earth, layed back fella :) Very cool!

Re: Chicago Locktoberfest

Actually, very laid back and friendly guy! He interacted with the crowd more than anyone and had I not recognized his face I would've never thought he was a superstar!

He even refused to sell his books there, as it was a non-profit event for Chicago TOOOL and he didn't want to detract from their sales!

And oh ya... he can definitely drink!

He seems like a great dude who is not full of himself.
