LA Null Space Labs/Locksport Int. Meet Up Review
Posted: Sun Mar 18, 2012 2:05 pmLast friday, on the 16th, i drove from Oceanside, to LA for the Locksport Int. Meet Up at there Null Space Labs (haxor space).
the meeting started at 7pm, i showed up around 9pm, and everyone was still kicking and part had just begun. The lab they had was a haxor/gamer/picker heaven. The people they had there were non threatening and extremely friendly and funny. there was a TON of drinks to be had if that is your thing. i dont drink but there were tons if i wanted.
in the corner was tons of lounge chairs and couches, and about 10-15 pickers sitting around, picking each others brains, and have a good time. everyone was so open with the use of their locks and picks. Datagram ran the show and was a great showman, he started the night off with a blindfolded picking contest/drinking contest lol, it was fun to watch. this was the first time i got to meet DG (datagram) and he was extremely friendly a inviting to his group. i spent most of the 2 hours i was there getting to know people and fucking around with some master locks and kwiksets, i showed off my American Barrel lock that Hallis gave to me, and my Ratyoke pick and other custom picks. i was with a girl that i took on a date prior to the event, i would suggest, if you want to look like a stud, bring a hot girl, BUT, if you want to get serious and really geek out and focus and pick their brains and their locks, DONT BRING A GIRL lol. i eventually had to go as my date was getting a little tipsy and losing interest lol.
the highlight of the night was meeting Kezo, hes a picker on here, he showed me his medeco picks, and lishi picks and i got to talk locks with him for about an hour. he was really cool and i cant wait to learn more from him in the future meet up in LA.
i was so happy to go that meet up, it was legit and fun!
