I'm not affiliated with this group and i don't even have any experience with them, but i just found out that 801 Labs/DC801 is having a lock picking night on Thur Sept 17, 2015 at 7:00 PM:

They're in downtown Salt Lake (353 E 200 S), and they tell me that the public is free to attend the meeting and you don't have to be a member of their hacker space. I'm not yet sure if i'll be able to attend, but i figured there may be one or two other Salt Lakenians (i'm pretty sure that's the right word) around the forum who may be interested.
