WTF update running a 3gb download - for windows 10 not authorised today - not a update a fucking nightmare

think I would like to be asked Microsoft - when changing my system on a standard background update -

cost £10.00 - on dongle thank fuck my credit ran out before full download on my windows 7 -
windows update now turned off WTF - not happy

Microsoft from the 29th are to provide the free update - windows 10 to millions hopefully with the owners consent

Ringo so your system started to download windows 10? Whats the $10 for?

I top up from my service provider - ie : pay as you go so use a dongle - wireless connection 2gb top up is £15.00
so was not very happy at weekend - having to top back up as it used all the credit - data allowance & failed

It does state 3 gb for full download - for update to windows 10 but can not confirm this ! as it did not happen update fail

but to answer your question papa gleb - it did this without my knowledge on a automatic update - some update
and not free of charge for peeps that use pay as you go dongles for sure - service providers will make a lot from this

Just so that I am clear guys, there is no danger of Microsoft upgrading my Win7 to Windows 10 unless I deliberately ask for the upgrade, right? I still want Win7 updates, but don't want to accidentally start a Win 10 download.

DON'T update !!!!!!!

Do a search on win 10 privacy not just to see what it is doing but to see how it will eat up all your allocation in a couple of days.

Personally, I think that win 10 will be the death of Windows as an operating system.

Stick with Win 7. Depending on whether or not you play games on your PC or have some important apps that require Windows have a look a Mint Linux. Probably the best Linux distro. yet (in my opinion - don't flame me if you prefer others).

I still use XP on my internet laptop. Does everything that I want (not that my needs are great) and my games PC is Win 7. Not that I have a lot oftime for games. Actually I just mess around with MS flight sim and X-Plane.
