Re: FS American 5570 Cutaway on Ebay (Not Mine )

What a beautiful cutaway. I don't have any cutaways in my collection at the moment, so I'm very tempted to bid on this - it's always nice to help out friends of friends too :).

l0ckcr4ck3r - Do you make a lot of these cutaways? If so, do you sell them or are they generally specials and one-offs for friends and such? I'd definitely be interesting in building up an interesting cutaways collection as time and money permits but I realise I'm a relative newbie here :).

Damn.. I just tried to bid and got "The seller does not ship to your country" >_<. I didn't realise that eBay would systematically control that. Welp!

Congrats to the winner :).

And whoever won, send me a PM with your info. When my friend confirms payment, will get the lock in the mail.

I so badly wanted to bid on this lock, but I just dropped $160 on a bunch of S&G 6730s and I was tapped out. Maybe I can get him to make one for me when my bank account is in a little better shape.

Wondering what sort of process you use to protect against the tarnish l0ckcr4ck3r? Is it something like this wax polish?

The lion on the front of that wax looks like it tried to lick the wax and decided it tastes awful. :D
