Copy and paste of GIF files

How do you copy and paste .gif files without them becoming just a still photo? I've never had one work before.

In windows you should be able to right click "save image as.." and download the gif file, you will have to open it with a browser to look at it.

What verz said, but save to your desktop. Then you can look at it when you want, or " send to" anywhere.

Desktops should be nice and clean! I'd burn my computer if it was covered with pictures and stuff.
