I've heard of this company before. There stuff looks really neat but seems to be pretty overpriced.

Re: Mantis Jyro

I wish there was a way to put an overly engineered carry system between the spring clip and the knife. I has to jam the release of my blade unless it's actuated just right. How handy is that!? Wear it like jewerly you say? And who will be the wiser... If only I could open it on an attacker using a martial art specific to the design it would be perfect! :loony:

I like the looks of MK karambits they make. It wouldn't take much to modify the spikes on the back of one into a wave function snagger. Thanks Hallis!

Re: Mantis Jyro

I love how you have to be "focused and centered" to press the button. I am very rarely in such a zen state when I need a knife. Either I have a rope caught on something tryin to drag me around, or I am workin on a car/bike and am not in a happy mood at all. Not to mention if someone is comin at ya!

^ To truely appreciate the greatest leap in modern knife making history, you have to wear shirts with a polo man who's big enough to push that button for you.
