hideaway knife + trainer

I learned of the hideaway knife from Hallis a long time ago. It's one of my favorite blades. I made a trainer the other day out of aluminum.

Great job on the trainer copy of the original. That's excellent work.

I think that's your next calling - making knives.

I made a couple knives like 11 or 12 years ago. I keep thinking about making more, but never get around to it.

That's really good work. "C.C." the woman who started that company and has since sold it to some other concern, I turned her on to LaGriffes a long, long time ago. The Hideaway was born out of the now defunct Self-defense Forums Dot Com.

That's an excellent training knife! You do great work!

I don't like the way alot of aluminum trainers look... crappy. They lack the finer detail of the knife they serve to represent. Your's is looking really nice. Accurate down to the jimping.
