Well, here is my story, I was born and raised in the country so I always carry a knife or three, my daily carry is one of those little gerber locking folders, a great knife , perfect for small animal skinning! I also carry a few kershaw knives from time to time, as they are made in my state of Oregon! I also carry at all times at least in my truck a P22 Walther automatic 22 pistol, most accurate pistol I have ever had, great for shooting cans, animals etc! Also carry my husqvarna 300 Magnum Rifle in the back seat, I love shooting this, I have had it since I was young, only thing is, shells for this thing are way out of sight expensive because of the economy. I also have a custom made seal bone handle knife worth posting a picture of someday! it has a blade made of damascus steel very pretty!

Ammo? It's the price of gold nowdays. I feel your pain.

Try finding .223, .45, 9mm, or 7.62 x 39. Ordered some from Cabela's and it took 2 months to ship - that's how long the back order was. Criminy.

Very very cool knifes!

This is the one I carry with me now:

Except my blade is black as well.
A great knife and I really like the serrated blade, it's very good when cutting rope and stuff. ;)

Yeah, but sharpening that serrated edge can be a bitch. You have to perform more gyrations than a drunk, one-legged stripper to sharpen them.

[Edit: BTW - I'm lazy. They really aren't that hard - but you have to have the right sharpening tools.]

When I go hunting, I carry with me a 6 inch survival knife. Im gonna take a picture of it soon. Its very used but it gets the job done. When I received it from a friend, it was so used the markings on the blade weren't there so its almost impossible to identify the manufacturer of the knife.

Lockylew: Please avoid using red as this is used by admins and mods for correction and warning.
