saying hi, as asked

Hi. My names Jon. I live in Pasadena MD. Been picking locks since I was 14, 20years ago. All self taught, until ,recently, internet access. I'm about to order a set of new picks, as my old set was stolen. That's actually how I stumbled upon this place. Sorry to be so long winded, never been on a forum before, look forward to it though.I've already seen some of the most interesting locks on her I've ever seen. Thank you

Hi Slim.

Welcome to the site.

You are right, this is the best lock site on the net.

I've been picking for many years but since I've been on this site I have learnt SOOOO much.

The best pictures, interesting and unusual locks, great gut shots plus very helpful and knowledgeable members.

Check out the Home Brew section particularly Violaetors works of art (no offence to all the other master pick makers, Violaetor's picks just blow me away) I'm sure that you will be inspired to make your own.

Anyway, again welcome.

Cheers.

Slim, Welcome! As previously concluded, this is a terrific site with an amazing amount of talented people. You should be able to peruse the old posts to get a feel for us. But take a proactive posture and you will learn a LOT! The chat is always interesting, so stop by there. Again, welcome to KP! Mark
