Just a quick Hello, and Thank you all for agreeing to let me in here;

My name is Matt Venn, I am a 31yr old UK based aspiring(and currently studying towards -) Locksmith Extraordinaire! (currently punching in the LittleGrasshopper, Kiddie-Friendly Velcro-Belt class, unfortunately...

Hoping that, through the forum, I can borrow, develop and hopefully return back to the community the gift and guidance of Experience one day..

Enough, anyway, on-wards(I'm sorry. It'a been a long day :p)

Thanks again for having me, anyway

Welcome, Matt. I have been identified by Oldfast as Lock Goblin Gordon. (Currently living up to that title under Lauren's thread :twisted: )

Glad to have you here. :)

:lol: Yes, positive. Or that is how I take it. :D A lot of times over the years, some lock or other shiny object has been listed here or on eBay, and I gobble it up immediately. Hence the nickname.

Re: Just a brief Hello to the guys, girls, and 'rather not s

Welcome Matt! There's another Matt around here who changed professions to become
an accomplished locksmith. And he did it mainly through self-teaching and this forum!
Quite inspirational really. Anyway, you're certainly in the right place my friend!

As to Lock-Goblin-Gordon, lol: If it information about locks you seek, he's a good friend.
If, however, it is the locks themselves you're after... then steer clear of the GOBLIN!!!

Or, you could always tryn' follow closely behind in hopes of picking up a few pins
and springs left in his wake as he makes off with his latest loot
:mrgreen: Good luck!
