Hi the names Stuart from Australia and I live a couple of hours north of Sydney. I have been interested in locks since manipulating locks in high school. Have worked in the corporate / banking sector with roles that included physical security of banking branches. Been picking locks since the 1980’s for interest only. Then in early 1990’s did a locksmith course and for a short while ran a local locksmith service as a second job.
I also have a Certificate IV in Security Risk Management and have kept abreast of changes to locks for corporate use working with mostly restricted keyway system including the V7 lockwood (that I wish I had kept a sample of) and ofcourse bilocks. Most door sets used Lockwood 570 hardware.
Have also had some experience with S&G 3 & 4 wheel combos but have only successfully manipulated one 3 wheel S&G in the 1990’s (it took me hours and hours and I think it was more by good luck than technique).
Now I’m semi retired and have taken up recreational lock picking again and enjoying it.
Have found the forums interesting and I look forward to learning more and contributing where I can.
