Howdy from the UK

Hi guys,

Just a quick message to introduce myself. My name is Tom and I've been a lock-picking enthusiast for a little while now.
Only just got around to signing up and socialising with the locksport community, but everyone has been really encouraging so far.
Hope to get filming some of my own videos soon and sharing with you my hilarious attempts at opening stuff.

Seasons greeting! Image

Re: Howdy from the UK

Hi fellas,

Thanks for the warm welcome! I mainly stick to euro and oval cylinders when I'm not fiddling about with padlocks.
I'm slowly building my own collection of bits from various sources (eBay is your friend!), and trading with some other locksport hobbyists.
I'd like eventually to have a crack at making some homebrew pins and picks, but for now I'm happy to just watch you chaps doing it properly, lol.

Hey! I just noticed you're in the UK (looked at your location when you mentioned Euro cylinders). That's awesome, me too! Where abouts if I may ask? Hampshire here :)

Edit: Also just realised your thread title was Howdy from the UK. D'oh. I cannot read XD

Re: Howdy from the UK

No way?!! That's crazy. There seem to be so few lock pickers / lock collectors in the UK, let alone locally. Do you know any others around? Maybe we should start a local meetup group or something :D
