Thought I should say hi.

Hey folks, I've been a long time lurker on here and after deciding to give lockpicking a serious try recently, I thought it's probably about time I said hey :)

Gave locking picking a shot a long time ago but only had a couple of bent picks and was never that serious about it. Last week I thought I'd give it a shot again, but put a bit more effort in this time. Bought some southords, a cheap clamp and broke out the old locks.
So far I've managed to pick a cheapy from Tesco, a euro cylinder off ebay and I managed to get a yale disc lock open once, damn thing won't go again. Also read Abus 65/40 wasn't to to bad for beginners... damn thing won't budge at all :( might just stick to easier locks for now.

Hopefully I start improving and soon that Abus will stop being a dick :D

Welcome to the forum :) Stop by the chat sometime and say Hi.

Hi Casper. Welcome!!

Sounds like you're fairing well with your new SouthOrd picks. Personally, I really like them.
They're decent picks for a decent price. I modify most of mine slightly. I've been living on
SouthOrds for a while now.
