Re: Members Say Hi
Hello all, just signed up a short while back and decided to take a look around.
Got back into this hobby about 8 or 9 months ago. I used to do security at a radio station (1984) and would have to open up cars when folks left their keys inside...or unlock file cabinets or when people accidentally locked office doors. The bug hit me pretty good, but it was hard to learn.
No internet, which made it hard to find a good resource for information. Locksmiths guarded their info like a nun hangs on to her skivvies.
It was a lot of fun back in those days - working at a R & R station and doing concert security.
Anyway, I'm a lurker. I jump in when I have a question or have something constructive to say. I just want to soak up the knowledge.
I've floated aound - LP101, EZ Picking...and now your site. I like the relaxed atmosphere here.
Folks here don't seem to be condescending or egotistical self-important, delicate geniuses - like another site (I won't name).
Besides, when you are 52 yrs old, ex-scooter trash, and actually know what "Molon Labe" means when it's tatooed on a moderator's forearm(USMCBoltaction - this means you), well damn it...you can get downright comfortable here.
BTW - I am a sick, twisted bastard that is 100% Non-PC... so FTW
