Re: Members Say Hi

Well, it seems I've inadvertently overlooked this intro thread (whoops), so, Hi all !
I'm an older guy who once half-heartedly gave lock picking a shot a few years before, bought the venerable PSX-14 set and a practice lock, saw only a tiny amount of success, then lost interest as I have other hobbies and such.
But that was before I knew there was a method to the madness and a large community behind it all. So in early September of this year, after seeing yet another LPL video that YouTube randomly suggested to me,I suddenly found myself smitten and diving head first into it, a man consumed. Oh the money I've spent in just a few months, lol. If I ever decide make a video and submit it to Reddit or Discord, I would be orange belt level at time of this writing, but the thing is I'm not sure I really care about all that yet.
BTW - I love the smilies on this board, that's amazing, whoever did the artwork. :prybar:

Welcome! There's a lot of different areas of lock hobby to explore, if you don't like one area then try another. Picking, safe manipulation, impressioning, and many other things

Hi, I'm Jesse. I'm a criminal defense attorney in Texas. It is relaxing to open locks without keys. :longhook: Now I want to try manipulating safe locks. :safedial:

This is a good place to dive into that, many a beginner has done well by looking through Oldfast's safe chronicles. Welcome!
