A TX200HC, Made in England by AIR ARMS, it is one of the worlds finest spring piston air rifle.
It has a right hand Walnut stock with a deeply carved palm rest and a high comb that naturally leads to scope use. This rifle can only be fully enjoyed with a scope, in fact, the manufacturer does not even supply it with iron sight. Beautiful carvings on the fore stock and on the pistol grip only adds to this already beautiful curvy stock.
Being the HC version (Hunter's Carbine) it is shorter than the full size but balances extremely well just in front of the trigger guard. The metal was highly buffed before the bluing was applied for an immaculately smooth finish. It has a superb trigger and it's accuracy is legendary. I tried it before I purchase it, and I was punching paper like I never had before. I was wondering were the pellets were going until I realized they were all going into the SAME hole. An outstanding air rifle and in .22 caliber it has plenty of power to dispatch small game...Or beer cans or Life Savers or Tic-Tac's or whatever I aim it at...

A very beautiful piece. It is on the "get one someday" list but right now I prefer PCPs

That stock is beautiful. I grew up with a right arm out of proportion to the other because of a Sheridan 5mm Blue Streak with a Williams Peep Sight.

What is the FPS range with average weight pellets on this model? Britain controls the power of air guns, substantially lowering them, and I am wondering if they make it more powerful for export out of the U.K..

I believe they are around 700 FPS in .22. Just a little bit more than what is allowed in U.K. without a firearms licence.

Riyame is right. Around 700 fps with 14.5 grain pellets.

I call it: "acorns and oak leaves for superb look."

I own several air rifles, including PCP's but I always go back to springers...No pumping, no CO2, no scuba tank, no fill probes and hoses and gauges...Not to mention the blown O-rings and the danger of HPA. Just grab the gun, a tin of pellets and you're good to go.

Sweet looking piece of machinery.It looks heavy though; is it?

Yes it is a heavy gun, with the scope, about 10 lbs.
Not a gun I'd lug around all day hunting, but it's weight helps with accuracy.
I plan on making this one my competition Field Target gun. Target guns are normally heavy and this one, although it is a hunter's carbine, is very well suited to target shooting and is known in the sport to be one of the very best in it's class.

I have other lighter and more rugged gun to bang around in the woods.
