Paracord Mini-Billy

Materials needed:

(1) Golf Ball (any brand, but if you insist, use a Titleist)
(20) ft of 0.250 inch, 600lb test polypropylene utility rope

(a) Create a monkey fist around the golf ball using about 14 ft of the rope, leaving equal length tails on either side of the fist; http://www.animatedknots.com/monkeysfist/index.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com

(b) Use about 6 ft of the rope to interweave a crown sinnet using both monkey fist tails. http://www.animatedknots.com/crownsinnet/index.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com

(c) Tie your knots tight, superglue to ensure they don't come undone, burn ends.

(d) Use as a short sap and practice on your drunk friends, mailman...or better yet, your drunk mailman.

That's genius! I've been looking to upgrade my billiard sock to something more compact for a while now.

Better yet, use a steel ball bearing about 1 in. to 1.5 inches in diameter.

[Edit - However, if you do use a steel bearing, you'll set off metal detectors. The Golf Ball version should not set off any detectors - although getting caught with either one will land you in the hoosegow]

I was actually talking about one of these. But the thought of you squeezing caterpillars looking for ball bearings is priceless!

This is my attempt.... I 'smacked' my hands a couple of times and have concluded that this could cause some serious damage if ever used aggressively.

Nice looking work Warder. It's tougher to combine the two than Hallis makes it look.

Nothing like a great group of "monkeyfisters"...showing off their work. Great job Tooly & Warder.

Warder, yours is so psycho-delic! Makes me wanna drop acid.... BTW - What did you put in your fist - golf ball or something else?
