cheap American knockoff lock review

Ok shame on me , but i couldnt resist. Found a knock off brand lock at BIG LOTS..Figured for $7.00 what the hell.It is a pretty heavy lock and stands 5 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. It Looked half way decent ...Cant be much difference than the original right ? Well once opened the wanna be spool type pins are pretty funny..This pins themselves have no quality control.. The top of the bottom pins are angled and crooked and you can even see that in the picture..oh well it funtions. ..in the last picture it does come with a cover that slides over the rear of the plug to prevent bypassing. Now ...as far as picking. Tryed Electric pick gun 3 trys..took about 2 seconds to pick at most..Spping takes longer but not that bad. Lock looks and feels ok from outside but id imagine will not take any everyday wear and tear. I would use this to lock up my grandmas wheel chair on bingo night..Period....but i coulnt resist buying it

Cheap heavy lock in a sock. Guess it would make a nice blackjack.

Re: cheap American knockoff lock review

I figured it would be better than that! Will it accept a good cylinder, or is it special in some way to make it not interchangeble.
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.

Re: cheap American knockoff lock review

Bought a cheap pack of 4 smaller locks for $9.00. Same size as american 1105. As kidd suggested i took both apart and they interchange perfectly....HMmm?
