thank you! (it is...)
not picked it yet, the pins are like blades, and the machine used to make the cuts, seems like it must use some type of tiny cutting wheel to make them.
the blade-like pins are also heavily sprung. (VERY strong springs)
if you know of anyone who has picked one of these toothy monsters,or find any info on this lock,
please post it here.
thank you.

Nah mate, they're cut on an End-Mill cutting machine, like a Silca Club, Tri-ax, etc..

Just like a drill press, or milling machine, but CNC (computer-numerical-controlled, like an Unocode)

here's a picture to a Tri-ax E-Code

Not trust a lot in their videos. Everything opens with the snake

Even this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqacJY9uZwQ
You know from experience that does not open with this tool

i agree crazy....
it just looks a little too ez!
the DOM.....(i had/have utmost respect for carl-mor,but the way he opened the DOM and the disc-detainer lock leaves me questioning his integrity....)
(just read the specs even on the weakest DOM,and there is question in my mind..)
NOT a pushover by any means.
one of the most well-made locks i have ever seen.
i am not one to judge anyone on their skills, and this is an open invitation for carl-mor to put me in my place..

Re: DOM Dimple Euro profile Cylinder

Today I got a used DOM, I believe it's an IX 5-N. According to Han Fey it's the most simple IX sytem.
