American cylinder ID help

The back of an unknown American lock cylinder.

There is a half circle shaped retaining plate that fits inside the slot in the cylinder and plug pictured here.

It happens that with this plate in place the pin on the top of the cylinder can't depress, so it would seem that fully assembled the lock wouldn't have a removable core without some drilling, but I don't know and I can't find the cylinder design on any recent product references. 6 pin stacks, 2 spool drivers @ 2&4, then nothing out of the ordinary other than the round bow american U.S.A. JUNKUNC BROS keys. I'm having a hard time searching it out, so I'm banking that someone can give me a good clue. Thanks.
