My Medeco 51s has a "Chubb" cylinder. What is the scoop on this? Google is not yielding anything that comes close to answering my question thus far.

It's just a regular Medeco cylinder, but sold under license to Chubb so they can put their brand name on it. I've most commonly seen them marked that way in England and Canada.

Ah... That makes me feel better. I was worried that it was something inferior to the "normal" Medeco 51S.

Thanks!

chubb and medeco are owned by the same company
A zealous locksmith died of late,

And did arrive at heaven gate,

He stood without and would not knock,

Because he meant to pick the lock.
