Re: Marco's Videos

HI,

The padlocks with discs, there are two types :

Le padlocks when they open, it's impossible the key to come off the padlock, because one of side of shackle is always in padlock.
Examples : Abus granit 37/55 - Abus 88/50 - Abus 88/40 - Abus 89/50 - Abus 89/40 and some chinese disc padlocks.

Le padlocks when they open, it's possible the key to come off the padlock, beacause the two sides of shacles are outside of padlock.
Examples : Abus Granit 37/60 - Abus Granit 37/80 and some chinese disc padlocks.

For the second type, it's easy to cheat with picture. This is why, I made a vidéo for the Abus Granit 37/80. Now that I made a vidéo the Abus Granit 37/80, I can put the pictures of Abus Granit 37/60.

Here the two Abus 37/60

Here its advertising. It's write : Impossible to pick (mécanisme incrochetable).

Here The old Abus 37/60.
The difference between the new and the old is the head of the key.

Re: Marco's Videos

Hi,

Today I introduce you a new video.
I Hope, you will like this video. :D :D :D
This video shows the Abus Granit Power X Plus picked by me.
Abus tells us : Abus X Plus is the High-Tech anti-theft for big motobike is better than Abus Plus.
Abus Granit Power X Plus 58/140 HB III is High-Tech with more than 1 million key variations and and blocking mechanism for the top protection against picking attacks .

In France, It is approuved by all assurances and they are labotaories tested by SRA, FFMS AFNOR, and NF.

The price is very High.

And yet, it is easy to pick !

Motobikers are duped by makers.

The makers and labotaories ought to employ locpickers for to be credible.

Re: Marco's Videos

Great, Marco. Thank you for the video. Now even I understand the tricks you do to the lock before picking.
So after disingaging the disc blocker you turn the last disk 90 degrees because of that last spacer, right? And then just use Jaakkos pick like on any older models?
What about those locks with a butterfly disc in the front? Where would you tension them?
Keep up the good work, Marco!!

Re: Marco's Videos

Hi Wizer ,

Thanks a lot to have told me what you thought of interest of my vidéo and if my english is understandable. This is my first video in english and you made me want to do an other video.

Great thank you very much yet. :D :D :D

Wizer wrote:So after disingaging the disc blocker you turn the last disk 90 degrees because of that last spacer, right?

Right. But I always do that, because the last disc is in correctly position for the right gate. If you watch my first video on Abus Granit Plus 37/80, you would see that I turn last disc of 90 degrees and in this padlock there is not the special last spacer. Because the first and the last discs are in correctly position for the right gate.

Attention.

Jaakko's pick can't pick Abus Granit X Plus, it can just pick Abus Granit Plus. Because on Abus Granit X Plus, discs and spacers are thinner and the first disc where I put tension is deeper. So, For pick Abus X Plus You need MARCO's pick or the same.

Wizer wrote:What about those locks with a butterfly disc in the front ? Where would you tension them?

For the padlock with a buttfly disc in the front. You have to have an other pick.

Generally we can put the tension on the last or the first disc.

There are two solutions :

1) The pick use the last disc for put the tension.
2) The pick use the first disc for put the tension. But the pick has to be butterfly-shaped.

Very important

There are three sorts of discs in Abus Plus :

-The normal disc

-The butterfy disc

-The butterfy disc n°7

Re: Marco's Videos

Hi,

When I began to pick the disc padlocks, I began by the chinese disc padlocks. I picked a lot. :D :D :D
I would advise you to begin to pick by chinese disc padlocks. It will be more easy for you in the first time, beaucause the chinese disc padlocks haven't false gates, just have right gates. But, something is very, very, very funny    , when you will be able to pick the disc padlocks Abus, it will be lot easier for you to pick disc padlocks Abus than to pick chinese disc padlocks.

Why ?

Beaucause the chinese disc padlocks have a bad mecanic, and more you will pick a chinese disc padlock, more its mecanic will become bad.
The same disc lock with a bad mecanic, you can open in few seconds, or more ten minutes.
It's incroyable and very frustrating.

So, when you will be able to pick the disc padlocks Abus, you will want to pick just the Abus, beaucause you more will enjoy picking disc padlocks Abus than chinese disc padlocks.
But, it would be a mistake to do not more pick chinese disc padlocks.

Here my study on different brands chinese disc padlocks.

Here the first chinese disc padlock, that I picked and the tool (detainer) that I used for pick all my chinese disc padlocks

Here on the left chinese padlok "ROBSON" and on the right chinese padlock "COGEX" with their key

Conclusion :

Point of view picking difficulty , it's the same.
