Looks like you got 2.50 in entertainment. lol

Reminds me of many of the interior door knobs in the states when they are locked you can open them with a nail or anything of a similar shape, kind of a lock,,? but just a 30sec deterrent.

That cracked me up! They say that locks only keep the honest people honest, but this lock doesn't even do that! Have you tried using the pull tab from a cola or beer can? How about the cardboard packaging in which the lock was sold? :-)

If you wanted to buy a lock like that from a magic shop (i.e. 'gimmicked lock') it would be expensive: http://www.richardsherrysmagic.com/restraints/restraints.php

Re: Worst padlock ever and best picking ever!

Heck, that ain't no cheap lock, it's really a very expensive lock built for a Harry Houdini wanna be. Somebody in the factory must have put it in the wrong package. Imagine the panicked look on the wanna be's face when he can't escape on stage!! :D

It would be interesting to try opening it with a blank key. Maybe the pins would be lifted high enough to block it from opening?

That is the kind of lock that makes honest people burglars. I do have a lot on ethics on this activity, but I don't think I could resist praking someone with a lock like that
