Ehhm I've also have a tubular lock but i dont have a tension wrench to it. But then I saw yours and i was wondering is it homemade or did you buy it somewhere

It is a homemade tension bar, there was a tutorial on LP101 by Raymond that I followed to make it, works great!!!

That was a very great video, also a real attention grabber the lock being an ACE and all!! Very good job with the picking as well, they do take a while to pick though!!

I looked over at LP101 and can't find the tuturial on making that tension wrench, has anybody else looked and found it yet? Could ya give me the link please??

Well done, Kokomo. The reason AceII cylinders give so much trouble to lock pickers is that they use drive springs of varying strength. If you set your pick to overcome the stronger springs, the weaker-driven pins won't set. You need to adjust for the weaker ons first, then reset the fingers and tighten the tension progressively. Picking individual pins like you demonstrated is a sure way to do it. I look forward to more videos from you. BTW: That wouldn't be Kokomo, Indiana, would it?

I have picked several ACE II locks, new out of the package, they get really hard when they have been in use for a few years. Yes I am in Kokomo, Indiana, do you know of our great little town??????

Tooly said a while back that he had one of these and it did the same thing, he picked it just as if there was no sidebar as well, just as you. I say that they didn't put much testing into these and that the sidebar has some sort of malfunction. I wish somebody would cut one of these apart and see what is wrong with them! So far I have yet to see one of these for sale locally, only by order thru a supply shop.
